Dr. Gary Dattner graduated from Cornell University in 1989.
He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New York State Veterinary Medicine
Association, Long Island Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
Dr. Dattner has completed continuing education courses and regularly attends the North American Veterinary
Conference. He has a special interest in Bio Stem Cell Therapy and Orthopedics.

Dr. Joseph I. Deme graduated from the University of
Veterinary Sciences at Budapest, Hungary, in 1988. He has completed many local monthly continuing
education courses. Dr. Deme is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and completed
one year of clinical experience at Iowa State University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Mara DiGrazia graduated from Cornell University
in 1996. She completed a small animal medicine and surgical internship at Oradell AnimalHospital
in 1997. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New York State Veterinary
Medical Association, and Long Island Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. DiGrazia has special
interests in veterinary ultrasound and small animal ophthalmology. She was recently credited
for supplying all Nassau County Fire Departments with animal oxygen masks through HELP Animals, Inc.

Dr. Julia M. Harmon graduated from St. George’s
University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Dr. Harmon has a particular interest in
internal medicine, general surgery, and new pet welfare. She is a member of the American
Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the New York State
Veterinary Medical Association, and the Long Island Veterinary Medical Association. In
addition, Dr. Harmon is a contributor to the Veterinary Information Network.

Dr. David Alan Kolins graduated from Purdue
University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. He is a member of the American Veterinary
Medical Association, Association of Avian Veterinarians, Association of Reptile Amphibian
Veterinarians, Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, Association of Wildlife
Veterinarians, New York State Veterinary Association and the Long Island Medical Association.
He has a special interest in Exotics, Specialty Reptiles and Chemotherapy.

Dr. Charlene Merritt graduated from the University of
Glasgow in the United Kingdom in 2009. She then completed a rotating internship in small animal
internal medicine, emergency and critical care, oncology and surgery at the Animal Hospital
Specialty Center in 2011. Dr. Merritt is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association,
the New York State Veterinary Medical Association, the Colorado State Veterinary Association
and a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. She has special interests in infectious
disease, neurology, dentistry and pathology.

Dr. Lynn Santora graduated from Ross University
with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, and afterward completed a small animal internship
at The Center for Specialized Veterinary Care. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Santora
worked as a registered nurse at Stony Brook UniversityHospital. In addition to being a member
of the American Veterinary Medical Associates, the New York Veterinary Society, and the Long
Island Veterinary Medical Association, she has received numerous awards including Outstanding
Performance in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, and the Banfield Human-Animal Bond Award.

Dr. Lorraine Socci joined Mineola Animal
Hospital in October of 2008, heading up our team there with Dr Joseph I. Deme. Dr Socci
graduated from Cornell University in 1983. She is a member of the American Medical
Association, New York State Veterinary Medical Association, and attends yearly
continuing education conferences. She has a special interest in emergency medicine
shelter medicine.

Dr. Jennifer Steiger joined our staff in July
2008. She is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her
clinical year at Auburn University, Alabama. Dr. Steiger is a Magna Cum Laude member of the
National Honor Society, and active member of NYSVMA, LIVMA and AVMA. She has a special
interest in Dermatology and Stem Cell Therapy.
